Working with Energy -- Excerpts from Chapter 9
Dowsing

  • We saw in the last chapter that one way to determine your calibration on the Hawkins Scale was muscle-testing. This works because your body is in intimate contact with your subconscious mind and higher self, both of which are in touch with the M-field. There is another way, however, and one that opens us up to an altogether fascinating field---the world of dowsing.
  • As with muscle-testing, dowsing works because the body is immersed in a number of fields, and responds to changes in the fields due to the presence of minerals, oil, water, ley lines and, most importantly, truth. We dowse the truth, receiving yes/no answers, to overcome the great limitation of the human mind that it cannot tell truth from falsehood.
  • Dowsers usually use a couple of tools: dowsing rods and a pendulum, which amplify minute muscle movements in the arm so that they become noticeable. L-shaped dowsing rods can be made from a pair of metal coat hangers, using the long part as the horizontal and one of the angled parts as the vertical, discarding the rest. Use the outer tube from a couple of cheap ballpoint pens as handles for the verticals, so that they can rotate freely.

Dowsing the Environment
We've seen how you can dowse for buried water pipes, which is very useful if you have a leak under your concrete driveway. Simply hold the thought "leak" in mind and follow the line. When the rods cross, you're standing on the leak. You can also dowse for buried electrical and telephone lines.

Dowsing Your Life
Working with Energy can also use a pendulum, which is a true/false indicator, based on what your Subconscious Mind and higher self know, you can use it to probe many aspects of your life. And remember, unlike your ego, the pendulum doesn't care. If you suspect conscious interference, close your eyes while waiting for the result to emerge.

Chakra Balancing

  • Pendulum dowsing is an excellent way of giving your chakras a check-up and tune-up. Get a friend to do the testing on you, as you lie on your back. Starting with the pendulum over the root chakra, have your tester state, "This chakra is at least ten percent open." Hopefully, you get a yes, otherwise call a funeral home for you'll need them soon. Then test for 20 percent, then 30, and so on until you get a negative result or weak response. Jot down the number and move on to the next chakra. (Some experimenters may find that the pendulum rotates clockwise over a healthy chakra, and not at all over a blocked chakra.)
  • If one chakra is particularly down, say the solar plexus chakra, then you know you've got issues with low personal power. Your friend can attempt to "restart" your chakra by "winding it up," i.e., clockwise movements of the hand over it. For long term relief, you and your pendulum have some work to do, probing what's going on with that chakra.

    How Dowsing Works

  • With traditional bent rods, dowsing is easily explained. Copper divining rods are charged with static electricity from the dowser's own body and we can measure this voltage using a simple voltmeter. A good dowser will read above 100 mV between the two hands. For men, the right hand is usually the negative polarity, and the left hand positive. This is usually reversed in women.
  • A positively charged divining rod (in a man's left hand) will rotate in the hand to line up parallel to a negatively charged object such as an underground water pipe. A negatively charged divining rod (in a man's right hand) will remain perpendicular to a negatively charged object because like charges repel. But then, because unlike charges attract, the unmoved rod will swing into parallel with the rod that did move, thus giving the impression that both responded to the buried object. Because a buried electrical cable carries alternating current, both rods will respond to the object.

Pyramid Energy
It's sitting out in the Egyptian desert on the Giza Plateau just outside Cairo-the Great Pyramid. Egyptologists claim it was built around 3750 BCE, but that claim is only to boost the Egyptian tourism industry. It was really built about 12,000 years ago, designed by Thoth and erected by Ra (see Chapter 3).

How Does It Work?

Working with Energy of Pyramids requires the sides at exactly 51° 51' to capture and focus Life Force Energy, named orgone in the 1940s by Wilhelm Reich, the pioneering researcher. Energizing effects are present anywhere within the structure, but are maximized in the center about one third up. Of course, this coincides with the placement of the Kings and Queens Chambers in the real thing. Anything placed at the focal point becomes "charged." What this means depends:

  • The crystalline structure of the metal in a razor blade "repairs" itself by sending atoms and molecules to areas that are worn away.
  • In water molecules, the bonds between oxygen and hydrogen atoms are changed and the oxygen atoms are charged as if they were tiny batteries.
  • A growing plant follows its genetic blueprint more closely and vigorously, thus giving larger and more perfect flowers. It is also less prone to insect damage.
