Life on the Soul Plane -- Excerpts from Chapter 2
- A common human misperception is that the soul plane is a holding pattern for souls who are between Earth lives. Even some well-known mediums claim that some souls, on crossing over, are immediately boomeranged back into a body. This myth points to an Earth-centered myopia that says Earth lives are what it's all about. Nothing could be further from the truth; an Earth life is just a little safari, a break from life on the soul plane. If you were on the crew of Star Trek's Enterprise, busy with your shipboard duties, you may make occasional forays to a planet's surface to gather data or do research, but such forays are not your primary purpose. These brief missions are akin to a soul making periodic trips to Earth for the same purpose-gathering data and doing research.
- We think of an Earth life as "normal," and life on the soul plane as "abnormal." WRONG! Life on the soul plane is normal; down here on Earth is an aberration, a horrible distortion of who we really are.
- Eons ago, your "higher soul" fashioned you-the-soul plane level of your vaster being. A very simplistic model of the soul plane associated with our region of space is that it's a 6th-dimensional frequency band divided up into several sub-bands, say seven, and in that model, most souls inhabit levels three and four of the soul plane.
- For eons (or what would be millions of Earth years if time existed there), we souls on the soul plane have worked, played, grown and explored the nature of creation. Where is this place? Right where you are now, interwoven with the Earth plane but vibrating at a higher frequency, so it is invisible to most of us. Its inhabitants can see and hear us but we cannot see them (usually), so a loved one who has crossed over may be reading this over your shoulder. (However, they are very discreet.) Also, the soul planes corresponding to other planets are interwoven with Earth's, too.
- Do souls have to incarnate on Earth? Of course not. There are no rules on the soul plane. However, you could spend millions of years trying to imagine how you would behave if you did not know you were love … and still not get it. Or you could drop into a lifetime in Bosnia or a South African country in civil war and get a five-year crash course in hate, abuse, war, greed, fear and all the other loveless chaos on the planet. One five-year stint as a child in a war torn country will teach you more than millions of years of conjecture on the soul plane. And when you return Home after being brutally butchered into little pieces by a machete-wielding mob, you will look at love with new eyes. Yep, you can't beat the Earth plane for a quick study in limitation, which is why it was created, of course. All just the Creator learning more about itself.
- Take grief, for example. How can you study the gut-wrenching ache of losing someone you love if it's impossible to lose anyone? On the soul plane, you just think of another soul and boom … you're right there with your buddy.
- Now, Earth trips are not for faint-hearted souls because Earth life has a terrible reputation elsewhere in Creation for being the toughest thing any soul can take on. That's why only about ten percent of souls even have the courage to try. The other 90% stay warm and safe, living life on the soul plane.
- Assuming you make 40 sojourns to the Earth plane, lasting an average of 50 years each, you will spend about 2,000 years in your various fleshy earth-suits. (For a hundred lifetimes, that's 5,000 years.) Now, as a soul, you are an eternal entity, but let's say you came into being a mere two million years ago-less than a blink in all eternity. That means your 2,000 Earth years are only 0.1 percent of your experience of life on the soul plane, so you spend 99.9 percent of your time on the soul plane doing "soul things." Now that puts the role of Earth lives into perspective.
- The physical plane life you currently regard as so important is really just a flash in your overall soul's growth, and one of dozens, or even hundreds, of lifetimes just like it. Now someone hearing this might be tempted to say, "Well then, it doesn't really matter what I do in this lifetime, so I might as well take it easy, goof off, and the hell with everything." That attitude is precisely why reincarnation was written out of the Bible in the sixth century CE. The bishops found that telling people they had just one shot to prepare for God's Judgment Day got their attention and motivated them to attend church (more on this in Chapter 3). Meanwhile, the other two thirds of Earth's population continues to believe in reincarnation, however screwed up they make it. Hinduism allows for cross-species incarnation, which means, "shape up or return as a bug," and in India, it is tied into the caste system as a means of controlling the population, as in: "shape up or come back as an untouchable." Neither approach exudes unconditional love.
- Final Word
As you work and play in this hologram we call reality, it's vital to remember the three Ws:
1. Who you really are. A vast spiritual being squeezing into a tiny bio-suit.
2. What the game is really about. The Creator learning everything about itself and growing in the process.
3. Why you're really here. As a Creator probe who begins its existence in the highest dimensions and projects down through them to explore on behalf of the Creator. For most, this involves learning, but a few million of us are here as a "transition team" to usher in a dramatic upsurge in the consciousness of humanity.
Because you're reading this book, you are probably part of that transition team, so if you're not yet awake to that, "Wake up … the time is now. And remember your three Ws."
